Dusk! i set it to mimic the real hardware though, except the Bloom pass. I'm using the new one because i find the original too bright.
Cool! I'm playing on Dusk as well. I played on the Wii back in the day. This time playing on original world mirroring like on the GCN. But I'm playing with almost every enhancement and QoL addition. I got kids. No time to climb ladders slowly lol.
I had to turn the resolution down to 2x only though. Otherwise the nostalgia wouldn't kick in โ it was too crisp at native 1440p!
Asking the real questions. Going to infer based on OPs posts that this isn't the GC
I played this on the Wii back in the day. Now playing on Dusk, and all the levels are flipped horizontally. ๐ Such a weird discrepancy between the two platforms.
It's entirely because Miyamoto thought that right-handed players would have their immersion broken if they swung their Wiimotes with their right hands only to see Link swing the sword with his left. Incidentally, this is also why SS and BotW have right-handed Links. Some bullshit lefty erasure, if you ask me.
Ah yes, now that you mention it I do remember that!
Although I don't know if I agree with the lefty erasure part. I am right handed so maybe I have bias, but it just makes sense. You want it to feel like you are connected with Link when swinging, not disconnected. And more people are right handed. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I gotta replay this game, it was a lot of fun. Long after the Wii was considered old, I bought one just for this, played Twilight Princess once, and haven't touched my Wii since.
