I think they are positioned relative to where they came out of their mom.
Also that poor woman.
I think it adds to the presentation personally
I saw birth and removal and thought it was very dark humor until I read the explanation.
The poor mother. Hopefully it wasn't lengthy and just a quick reaction to being stuck. My wife failed at her first and only after 36 hours of labor did they decide to go in. Probably should have followed up with what bad decisions led to that, but we were young kids and didn't know better then.
Similar story. Doctors arrived adviced c-section but she refused. She dreamt of a perfect birth like in the movies, but biology didn't cooperate.
We got a perfect baby in the end.
What bad decisions lead to this?
I don't know, it's 30 years in the past. Maybe something as simple as lazy handoff of info to the next shift, the staff not noticing how long she'd been there or her lack of progress.
Public service announcement: induction takes days, especially if it’s early like 39 weeks.
