Yes. Yes he is this stupid. Once you get over the incredulity that nobody could be like this, just skip to the end and know that a self serving, idiot narcissist can do this and worse.

[–] o0evillusion0o@sh.itjust.works 12 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

He also raped and killed kids and their mothers on purpose. He loves fucking kids, as stated in the TRUMP-EPSTEIN FILES (TM).

It's a strategy only great minds like his can grasp.

[–] mgrecca2026@lemmy.zip 1 points 13 minutes ago

He is a Baal worshipper

Don't forget they probably also ate children like i was veal to them. I don't doubt that man has eaten a person, a personality like that would do it for the fun of it.

Surely this gaffe will-

I can't, even as a joke. I am so tired, so very very tired

[–] ZMoney@lemmy.world 8 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

I'm 5 months behind on my podcasts so I'm now listening to all the coverage and analysis of the Maduro kidnapping. Everybody was saying that with how cheap oil is, it doesn't make sense to try to take Venezuelan oil which is heavy and requires a lot of refinement. In that context shutting down the Strait of Hormuz makes perfect sense.

[–] whoisearth@lemmy.ca 3 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

I also listen to a lot of politics and it amazes me to this day the consensus is not he's a fucking idiot but in the context of he is Putin's puppet and the goal is to destroy America and the Western Alliance he's doing what he's meant to do.

The problem is very smart people like Dr. Janice Stein are quick to say there's sure as shit smoke but we don't factually know what the deal is with Trump and Putin but we all know something is there

[–] Dasus@lemmy.world 5 points 1 hour ago

Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

One can be a fucking idiot and Putler's lapdog.

Saying "we don't know for a fact he's working for the Russians" is just willful ignorance.

The aforementioned claims by Shvets, which were also a significant basis for Craig Unger's best-selling book, American Kompromat: How the KGB Cultivated Donald Trump, and Related Tales of Sex, Greed, Power, and Treachery, were also backed by Alnur Mussayev, former head of Kazakhstan's intelligence service, and Sergei Zhyrnov, an ex-KGB officer living in France.[26] Mussayev also asserted that Trump is compromised:

I have no doubt that Russia has kompromat on the US President, that over the course of many years the Kremlin has been promoting Trump to the post of President of the main world power

[–] mirshafie@europe.pub 2 points 3 hours ago

Same story with fracking.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 4 points 3 hours ago

Every bully ever when faced with failure..."Oh yeah!? I wanted to do that!".

[–] anon_8675309@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

Like all his pressers, it was just a rambling nonsensical regurgitation.

[–] Mangoholic@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 hours ago

So he admitted to market manipulation, surley this time there will be consequence...

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 24 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Now just imagine if Biden did or said this. Or Obama, or Hilary. The right would have a full on meltdown and a J6 everyday.

[–] bluefootedbooby@sopuli.xyz 12 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

Where is the left's meltdown and J6 then? Why you guys so docile?

[–] Ryanmiller70@lemmy.zip 7 points 4 hours ago

Too many view it as "too radical" cause it'll interrupt brunch.

we gotta take the "high road"

[–] bitwolf@sh.itjust.works 2 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

I hate to do this to you guys, but Iran's going to have a nuclear weapon very soon. We have to go and attack.

Am I wrong to interpret that as overtly sarcastic?

Like he is making an off handed remark that the nuclear weapon thing has always been a bs justification toattack another country?

[–] OleFoFa@lemmy.world 6 points 3 hours ago

Who the hell needs a nuke to hurt the US? The US is doing so much worse to itself and it's former soft power. A recent report in Europe found that only 1 in 10 Europeans (from various countries, about 15-20 were asked) consider the US an ally. The tourism industry in the US is probably never to recover from Trump because the problem isn't Trump, it is the fact that 70mæ million americans have shown themselves to be totally cool with fascism if it means they can feel superior as they're getting fleeced by the criminals in charge.

[–] MajinBlayze@lemmy.world 29 points 14 hours ago (2 children)

Dedollarization of the global economy was a component of project 2025

[–] majster@lemmy.zip 2 points 5 hours ago

I thought the idea was to weaken the dollar but still have it as global reserve currency

[–] bedifferent@mastodon.social 8 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

@MajinBlayze @tacoplease If I heard or read that, I've forgotten. However, I've been following the economy for a long time (parent was economist). I've been waiting for the dollar to be trashed by the evil out there and turned into rubles. Can't have a strong dollar when democracy is being killed off.

[–] MajinBlayze@lemmy.world 5 points 14 hours ago* (last edited 13 hours ago) (6 children)

Technically I've overstated it a bit, the more correct framing is that a major contributor of Trump's economic policy, Stephen Miran, also wrote a paper called "a user's guide to restructuring the global trading system" which advocates and provides guidance for removing the dollar as the primary reserve currency of the world.

But that seems like a distinction without a difference to me.

I don't think that that necessarily means we'll see the ruble in it's place though.

Would that not qualify as treason? Did he just admit to intentionally levying a war that is purposely against the American people? Adhering to the enemy, giving them aid?

Asking for a friend.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 7 points 6 hours ago

The Treason Ship sailed on January 6, 2021. We don't have to grasp for Treason, it's already well-established.

That's 4.2 percent per month, not 4.2 percent per year like we usually look at the numbers

[–] Asafum@lemmy.world 83 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

Before the election: Biden inflation! Biden inflation! LOOK AT THESE EGG PRICES!! Vote Trump to fix the inflation! Inflation bad!

Now: Inflation good. I love inflation. I did it on purpose.

MAGA: baaa baaa!

[–] bradinutah@thelemmy.club 17 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

Inflation is one of those big words, kinda like 'economist' or 'groceries.' When you're a MAGA, how can you be expected to know these things?

  • That didn't happen.
  • And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
  • And if it was, that's not a big deal.
  • And if it is, that's not my fault.
  • And if it was, I didn't mean it.
  • And if I did, you deserved it. <-

We got here on this subject a lot quicker than I expected honestly.

[–] tomiant@piefed.social 1 points 48 minutes ago

I hate that that pasta misses the FIRST thing narcissists do: blame YOU

[–] bearoftheisle@europe.pub 13 points 17 hours ago

Oh don't worry, we'll hit the other points again real soon. Consistency is not this guy's strength

I've been thinking this basically the whole time with the second administration. It's the most conspiracy oriented I've ever been, but I genuinely think there is a non zero chance that the entire goal of this administration has been to crash the dollar and world economy to force the globe into a position where digital currencies take over nation state derived currency as the foundation of global markets. I'd say I'm 5-10% confident this is the case, which is very high.

That their goal is to destabilize not just the world, but the very concept of nation-states to be replaced with a corporate/privately owned concept of a nation state or state level actor.

I know there are specific conspiratorial threads on this concept but I e intentionally avoided looking into those. I think there is ample evidence at the surface only to have this kind of suspicion.

[–] ContactClosure@lemmus.org 1 points 30 minutes ago

You explained Yarvin's plan to a T. Thiel and Vance will make it happen once The Clot breaks free.

[–] Cethin@lemmy.zip 3 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

I buy it, except for the reason being to force digital currencies. He's doing it because daddy Putin wants to destabilize the west. Trump is just a useful idiot.

I would believe that your theory is also true too though, being pushed by people like Musk or Thiel.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 hours ago

Add in the overlapping interests of the oil companies and I think you're onto something.

[–] ChunkMcHorkle@lemmy.world 5 points 11 hours ago

Crashing the world economy, especially the first world and the west, and most especially USD also benefits Putin, which is a non-negligible, non-coincidental factor in anything the orange chancre does.

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world 37 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

Occam's Razor continues to be that the orange pedophile simply did not want those pesky Epstein files out

[–] ragepaw@lemmy.ca 40 points 20 hours ago (10 children)

If we were to apply Occam's Razor fully it would be.

A doddering old imbecile that has had a clear mental decline and has a history of terrible decisions is continuing to be in mental decline and make terrible decisions.

@tacoplease I've been plastering this where I could. 2014 interview with hannity on fox bs. chump was asked what m a g a ?

"You know what solves it?

When the economy crashes, when the country goes to total hell and everything is a disaster — then you’ll have riots to go back to where we used to be when we were great."

They're doing it in spades. Hope it boomerangs on oligarchs' evil.

[–] tacoplease@lemmy.world 8 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

He's thinking of race riots where black communities were wiped out. He's hoping for the whites to rise up and kill every non-white this time.

[–] discocactus@lemmy.world 4 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah they don't want Rodney King 2 they want Tulsa or Rwanda 2

[–] bedifferent@mastodon.social 1 points 2 hours ago

@discocactus @tacoplease They're settling for 1/6 and 9/11 in color or black and white.
