For those that seek a future that brings together the best of the insights and objectives of people who, within the social democratic and democratic socialist traditions, have worked through farmer, labour, co-operative, feminist, human rights and environmental movements, and with First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples, to build a more just, equal, and sustainable Canada within a global community dedicated to the same goals.

This community is not managed by NDP staff.

Definitely need more of this in our politics. Change starts with the rhetoric. We need schools to teach it and the media to preach it. Feasibility will soon follow one way or another.

Has Heather gotten a bit more radical lately or is it just Avi's election widened the political speech permission structure? I like it either way. People must be hearing these words from elected politicians.

I think its just how things are getting. No one cared that much for people being wealthy as long as we otherwise were trying to have a good society for the average person. But the greed and wealth disparity has gotten to a crazy high level that is driving our dystopia and its becoming more clear the cause.

100% on the wider context. I'm more thinking about it from the recent context of the leadership race.
