I like the one with the trash can better.
I would prefer it if people reclaimed them instead of overwriting them. Like turning them into the center of colorful mandalas.
I would be nice if people were reminded more often that it is a wrongfully appropriated symbol, and anyone who willingly gives it away is acting as an accomplice to that, whether they realize it or not.

Lately I've been working on this theory that the strife in the 20th century was the result of abusive and ridiculous 19th century parenting styles.
There was plenty of strife in the 19th century too but the weapons available were not as destructive.
Imagine the US civil war if one side had invented nukes.
Imagine the Napoleonic wars if Napoleon had tanks.

That was a rather unfortunate consequence of not reading ahead in the material. Not much they could do about it either, since they wouldn't have the budget to film enough of their own scenes in the costumes until much later.
While the color coding could have been unfortunate coincidences, David Yost, the actor for the first blue ranger was bullied off the production for being gay.

Just add 4 dots and it's the Hindu swastika.
With two large caveats immediately apparent to anyone familiar with Hinduism:

the Hindu Swastika is traditionally also never drawn in black, as far as I've personally seen. It's usually red / saffron.

Project Swastik was a roads improvement programme in northern India. The swastika symbolises protection and it's ubiquitous in India (and Asia).
Then go drop your heavy 'love wins' block on a fascist's head.
