So ... does something like this work? Or is the foundation a little bit weakened in a few spots, which totally doesn't matter in the lifespan of a datacenter?
With their track record, I suspect they achieved absolutely nothing of value.
Which is on brand for them.
they got their headlines, so it works
They used vinegar. And the peroxide is probably 3% max. Okay plan, poor execution. This will do nothing.
they probably don't want to be accountable for serious damage claims. They do it for people's attention. To materially disrupt data center construction you need a lot more than a single action
You can get 10% hydrogen peroxide and 32% acetic acid over the counter, so that's probably what they used
Here is some 40 volume hair bleach, which is 12% peroxide. I am fairly certain you can get higher too. Incidentally this is good for retro-brighting.
Peroxide is a base too. Add it to an acid and you get water.
Oh sweet. I’m all outta water but I’ve got barrels of peroxide and sulphuric acid! BRB
Water and by products
In the case of hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid, you get peracetic acid, which is even more corrosive than either.
Well done!
Holy shit, did they finally get the message that stopping regular people from going about their day just makes everyone hate them?
What a spectacularly useless organisation.
