/c/TenForward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

Ah, the Nebula class. The butt of many of my jokes. Such as this one:

Fandom is getting more toxic. I scroll past three ads trying to get to the body of the article only to be stopped by a “View ad to continue” button. No thanks.

We need a federated alternative

Or if they all just switched to MediaWiki

Ublock Origin blocks Fandom ads. I also have these additional filters in my list to get rid of other annoyances on Fandom pages to make them cleaner:

fandom.com##.mobileDrawer
fandom.com##.wds-mobile-drawer
fandom.com##.global-explore-navigation
fandom.com##.sitenotice-wrapper--visible.sitenotice-wrapper

Aggressive to the max. Even got past the ad blockers. The kinda fuckery needed to bypass these blockers is damn near rootkitting. Hideous.

I always loved this weird little TNG Miranda-class ship.

I love all the kitbash ships.

I loved watching the show and recognizing little bits of like a pen or marker being used as a nacelle or a piece of a TOS model being crammed into a spot with the plastic tabs still attached to make it look different.

So many galaxy class models just reorganized.

When I was a kid, my sister intentionally threw my x-wing Lego set on the floor, and I never found all the pieces so I just started rearranging the xwing. And now I want a replacement for my xwing set... :(

One thing I kinda like about the Nebula is how inconvenient things are. The shuttle bays are now an obstacle course with the placement of the pod, and anyone whose room is in the rear of the saucer section...your view is now the either the pod or the star drive.

I can’t be the only one who thinks Jimothy is creepy instead of cute, right?

I thought that was the appeal.
