You're very kind and it's wonderful that you recognized that Pixel was happier there. A lot of people don't have that sort of empathy or emotional sensitivity for animals.

Aw ty. I wish we would have done this sooner, but better late than never. She's in good hands.
If your parents' raised the person who chose this path, you're damned right she is. Long distance hug! Be well.
You launched Pixel's Kayak toward new adventures!
Good job!
I have the opposite issue. I didn’t want a cat, that little fucker adores me for some reason and immediately bonded, though, so I’m stuck with the bastard because I don’t have it in me to break his dumb little heart.
~~for animals~~
Look, I get what you're saying, but humans actually have the ability to say what they mean. When they can't or don't, many times it's on them.
Too often animals are not given that opportunity. Particularly around the end of their lives when humans are too selfish to realize that it's time to let them pass on.
So, yes... "emotional sensitivity," but really, it's the "for animals" part that more people lack than one might want to accept.
I keep asking my cat to use his words when he's howling at me. But he refuses to divulge his secrets (it's usually "put the blanket on your lap so I can sit on it", or "get out of the shower so I can get in and lick up the drops")
Keep trying. You'll get through to his better judgment one day or wear him down.
Pixel Gets Her Throne Back
My little sister made her a throne, actually. Out of cardboard boxes and blankets.
You know we are gonna need a picture if you happen to see pixel on the thron.
Just to prove this is not AI - or something like that
I 100000% will. My parents said she's been mostly exploring the house. She hasn't been in it for 4 years, and some stuff has changed. She also has been chasing my parents great shepherd (great Dane and German shepherd mix) around to assert dominance. Their Aussie mix is too dumb to be scared but it'll probably take one bite from pixel for her to learn to leave her alone.
I learned my little sister has cried tears of joy multiple times to have Pixel back. It's a great thing for everyone.
