Pickled all my garden beans, was gonna save some by freezing for a family dinner, but the recipe I used called for 1.5lbs, and well I had exactly 700grams, so I used them all.

I mostly followed this recipe, with some modifications, that I got from another post earlier this week.

I doubled the sugar, and put 4 cloves in each jar instead of 2 for all. I don’t like vinegar that much, so hopefully these are more dilly and garlic.

I’ll see how they turned out in a week!

This is so cool. Thanks for sharing, hoping to do the same with some cucumbers later this year.

Mine unfortunately have only started flowering, and they’re barely 15cm tall. With frost being a potential concern starting in 2 weeks, I don’t see me getting any.

Well bummer, I'm in the southeast US where I have the 90+ degree F (35C) heat roasting my veggies...its been a wild year, hoping for cooler weather in a couple of weeks.

We just had that 2 weeks ago, but it can still get up to the temp in September too though.

30c during the day, but risk of frost every night. But seasonal frost isn’t till the end of Sept.

Growing season on “average” is May 28 to Sept 28 ish. So hence my 60 day bush beans being ready if they are planted beginning of June.

That colour didn’t last long, I heard cooking them would take it away though.

Those purple teepee beans? I grew some in the garden last year! They're lovely and delicious. Enjoy!

90% sure it’s these ones.

Grabbed them just because.

I don’t see them in my online orders, so most likely a Home Depot grab instead.
