Simple, Alberta is full of people that only vote conservative, Cons love a grift and could not care less about the environment and right now, the Alberta gov is bootlicking the MAGAs down south so hard, they probably have sore assholes
It is darkly hilarious as someone from the US seeing Canadian conservatives bootlick for MAGA, MAGA hates themselves with a murderous passion, you don't think they hate you with a murderous passion too?
The best case scenario if Canada sucks up to Trump is that he fucks Canada over and the international community feels more sorry for Canada than they would otherwise, it will not impact whether Trump will fuck over Canada or not, that is inevitable.
There is no being on the same side as MAGA because MAGA is just a series of individuals backstabbing one another all the way down.
It's a good thing we don't have all those ugly wind turbines all over the place. Massive data centres are so much nicer.
