This community is focused on games, of all kinds. Any news item or discussion should be related to gaming in some way.

2. No bigotry or harassment, be civil

No bigotry, hardline stance. Try not to get too heated when entering into a discussion or debate.

We are here to talk and discuss about one of our passions, not fight or be exposed to hate. Posts or responses that are hateful will be deleted to keep the atmosphere good. 4. Stay on-topic; no memes, funny videos, giveaways, reposts, or low-effort posts

This community is mostly for discussion and news. Remember to search for the thing you're submitting before posting to see if it's already been posted.

We want to keep the quality of posts high. Therefore, memes, funny videos, low-effort posts and reposts are not allowed. We prohibit giveaways because we cannot be sure that the person holding the giveaway will actually do what they promise.

5. Mark Spoilers and NSFW

Make sure to mark your stuff or it may be removed.

No one wants to be spoiled. Therefore, always mark spoilers. Similarly mark NSFW, in case anyone is browsing in a public space or at work.

6. No linking to piracy

Don't share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.

We don't want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.

Today’s game is Old School RuneScape. Today I went and did the Goblin Diplomacy Quest. I will admit I expected it to be a lot shorter than it was. Unfortunately I was wrong as it had me running back and forth looking for little items I admittedly should have had on hand.

The biggest thing I struggled to find was the onions for the dye. The lady said I could find them by the cow pens. I thought there would be a field with onions in it. But nope. I get over there. Check every field. Nothing. I double check every field thinking maybe I missed something. Still nothing. Turned out it was in a little field behind the farmer’s house.

The Redberries were a little easier. As I was harvesting though this wizard guy came up to me and asked me to move some bodies around for him. I don’t know about you but if a wizard asks me to move some unspecified bodies around I’m doing it no questions asked.

It ended up being a bit of a chore because I was having a hard time recognizing the labels. Luckily I got them though. I scored some Zombie armor for my work too which is nice. I probably won’t use it but it’s nice to have.

Anyways, after all that I make my way back to the goblin village. Orange Dye in hand. And you know what they tell me? The orange “clashes” with the skin. They want blue. I decided then that was a good point to end off for the night.

Despite all my complaining I did rather enjoy the quest I did. Sometimes fetch quests like this are fun. I rather enjoyed it. Tomorrow I’ll try and finish it because I can’t imagine blue dye is that hard to get.
