ultrabook w/a 13—14″ display (e.g., HP Stream 14 or Lenovo Ideapad 1). But these machines date back to the time period of the chip release.
Is the Lenovo Ideapad 1 /still/ being produced? I see no evidence of this. So it’s interesting to ask when the A4-4355M production stopped. This page claims the A4-4355M production status is “end of life”. If that’s true, how are they getting the chips? Was there a massive over-production?
Does the story seem sensible? If they want a budget 17w APU, why would they choose a Trinity processor when there are viable Richland APUs? Such as:

- a6-5345m
- a8-5545m (← 19w probably close enough)
