The Ontario Science Centre has laid off 30 workers including the entire science department

“As part of the changes, some departments will no longer form part of the new organizational structure,”

“In some cases, this means entire full teams are impacted, including business development, science, security and live exhibits.”

The province said the science centre is making changes to “effectively and successfully deliver science learning experiences and new programming”

...by firing the entire science department.

So it's just the Ontario Centre (Centre De L'Ontario) now? Isn't that name already taken?

No, silly.

It'll be the Douglas Ford crime syndicate family centre.

The new Science Centre will be majestic. A card table with a ream of paper for folding airplanes and free DECO stickers. Another pavilion with calculators for students to determine their OSAP debt payments.

Conservatives always have such a problem with science, and facts in general.

Scary stuff, especially in the face of massive infrastructure investment.

So this is before the name had the air-quotes in it?
