While true, AI is making it worse, as it's corporately acceptable at the entry level tasks. I don't envy the graduating class, it's like graduating during a recession.

LLMs are making it feel like there is a recession, and that’s without accounting for the fact that we’re staring a bubble-pop, a rather tectonic geopolitical trade shift, and an almost-certain economic recession (or even depression) in the face.

Pretty sure that if you don't count the magical investment circle jerk of AI we are in a recession.

That’s more or less exactly what I mean. Everything has a “house of cards” feel to it these days

And they are at their limit. There will be no more performance. Eventually people will recognize their limits.

There's a recession for everyone except for a handful of tech companies and their investors already happening.

Yes, it has been true since the late 80s/early 90s. It is getting worse, though, as there really are no entry level roles anymore.
