Work vent: I fought for years for a project to come in and correct all these models that are based on incorrect boundary conditions and we finally got it, right before I went on leave. I found out today that they didn't use any of the info I compiled for them, including stuff I put together while I was on medical leave because I really, really wanted to see this done right.

Why do I do anything?

The really annoying part is that none of this is my responsibility, but the infrastructure planning done based on these models directly impacts my ability to do my job so I have an interest in it.

Return to work isn't going great for other reasons also but I'm expecting to get written off again tomorrow

I did some pro bono volunteering tonight, and literally all it took was one instance of someone looking at me like I'm mildly strange to set off my rejection sensitivity. I was upset the rest of the night and cried on the walk home. ugh.

We went to local store that has chest freezers on the floor. We bought one. It will be delivered. I'm excited.

So I just got out of the shower and I had to try a new shampoo because my old shampoo was discontinued. I do not like this smell. It is going to smell like there is another man standing next to me all day. I hate this.

I have an awful cough too.
