I’m running a campaign based on Out of the Abyss with my table. Yesterday was the intro session, and I had to drop a load of names on the players.

I wanted to keep the BBEG characters memorable, so I made crappy sock puppets for three of the drow villains. Googly eyes and elf ears lazily glued to old dress socks.

As a human, I only have two hands, so I waited until everyone was busy setting up their gear at the table to sneak on a fresh “sock”. No one was ready when I popped my leg up on the table for the third-drow reveal, glaring down at the captive party from behind the prison bars.

They’ll really freak out when the fifth sock pops up.

I'm just curious how many sets of elf ears you have to own to just start glueing them onto your socks.

A lot of the time ears like that come in a pack with multiple sets.

I think the duality of man shines through in both directions on this one

The third drow was the only true drow since they were the only under-elf

Ah, we meet again, Drrrggt Do'Footden.

That's great, I think you've made it impossible for your players to forget the characters
