You guys remember when a box of cereal cost $3?
Those were good times. You know…2021 or so.
2000ish you could put 10ish bucks in your car to nearly fill it, buy a meal from fast food for 5 more, and rent a movie with the change.
20 bucks.
Now? 30-40 for 10 gallons. 10-15 for the same fast food meal. (Which got smaller btw) 2-5 still for the movie at Redbox (I think?)
40 - 60 bucks or 100-200% inflation over ~20 years. Neat.
Costco saves you a little but not much. Its still like 8 bucks for two large bags.
Well, if I still ate cereal, I would stop eating kellogg's.
Besides, that breakfast cereal was created because Kellogg thought that it would stop people from masturbating.
I mean, it works though. I’m not masturbating most of the times I eat corn flakes.
"most of the times"
Sometimes you just wanna turn your corn flakes into frosted flakes y'know
What happened to a chicken for every pot?
"In ev'ry pot he said "a chicken" But Herbert Hoover he forgot Not only don't we have the chicken We ain't got the pot!" Who knew "Annie" the musical was so prophetic? Just remember that tomorrow they'll be sun.
Probably labeled a socialist now.
I lived on Grape Nuts for like three months in college.
Difference now: I'm not in fucking college.
Here is a money saving tip for Gary Pilnick: eat shit!
