If you have one, what is its projection ? Personally I use the Gall-Peters projection, it is said that

it preserves the proportion between the areas of the different zones of the Earth. This is its main difference with the Mercator projection which preserves the angles but not the areas.

But now I would like to acquire a Gall-Peters projection combined with MacArthur's Corrective Maps.

#Now your turn#

Do you stay on the classic projection that your educational system has instilled in you (which is totally fine) or have you evolved ?

In the case of personal development, is there a story behind it? (no judgement) 😎

If you feel fustrated or outraged just downvote as usual. ❀

We have the LEGO wall world map that we built with our 5 year old, can’t find any info about what projection it is.

I don't, but if I would, I guess it would be Winkel Tripel!

Yes, We have Peters world maps in our house. My wife insisted. I'm so blessed to have found someone as nerdy as me.

My parent's put up US and world maps in our home when I was about four years old. Helped teach me colors, shapes, numbers, and letters.
