Whenever I try to upload an image to Lemmy I get this error: data":{"msg":"Couln't upload file, Error in DB, IO error: Os { code: 28, kind: StorageFull, message: "No space left on device" }","files":null},"state":"suc

I figured that this meant my phone's storage is full, but I checked it and it wasn't. Is there something I can do to fix this?

This most likely means the storage on the instance you are trying to use is full.

So should I contact the admin of the instance I'm trying to post to? I just want to make sure. edit: I checked and it doesn't let me post images no matter what instance the community is in.

Upload the image to an image host and paste the URL into the URL field. Images don’t have to be stored on the local instance.

I didn't know I could do that, thanks!

Uh... Contact the instance admin, the storage of the server is full. For this, they should have some kind of alert set up, actually.
