I’m not big into CCGs but I enjoyed my demonstration games with Unlimited. Unlike most deckbuilders I was able to wrap my head around the interactions between cards and the overall goal. I’m not very experienced in these kinds of games but I can even recognize how different deck styles might work.
The ability to have different variations of the same character is a little silly but it’s nothing insurmountable.
My buddy got me into the game with the starter decks. I got to Force Choke General Motti and ready Vader to attack a second time and was just completely sold on the game.
As someone that has played a number of TCGs this one has a lot of room for interesting game design. Looking forward to future sets and something to bring me out to my LGS on a weekly basis.
