A friend of mine introduced me to this channel and I love it. They do such amazing historical recreation of so many different aspects of pre-modern life. One of my favorites

It was widely compared to the matrix which I did, but watching later it is a great movie in its own right

Stretch, focus on muscle groups in your hands or arms or shoulders or neck if you can't get up, back or hips or calfs or ankles if you're standing

You must work in a role where your input is valued and you have a degree of autonomy, your calendar is a collaboration tool to work with other people.

Most jobs aren't like that, and bosses will use your calendar to micromanage you instead of supporting you

It's about direction of rotation, does the wrench turn left or turn right, there isn't the same notion of up and down / in and out because that portion happens when the bolt or nut turns. Also, anything rotation is moving the opposite direction on the other side of the rotation, so if you have to tighten a screw that turns towards you it's the opposite

I remember having a demo for giants: citizen Kabuto, it was a weird and fun third person shooter. The thing I remember most is the initial quest giver guy and the way he would say "huuungry" something about it stuck in my brain

We found a used older one, used it just about daily for a couple years before my dumb ass left it in an oven that was too hot (some old ones only got to like 400F apparently) and caused a bunch of cracks. We messaged le cruset and after sending them some pictures and a sob story they sent us a brand new one.

Doesn't need to be a new one or le cruset, enameled cast iron is just nice generally in my experience

Enameled cast iron is definitely a thing, our le cruset Dutch oven is a work horse

The reason it's relevant is that most working people do not earn salaries, they earn hourly rates. I'm a welding engineer earning a salary, working with maintenance men and welders and operators who all earn hourly rates. Every company I've ever worked for has both salary and hourly and also an HR department.

The situation you are describing does not align with the vast majority of working people's experiences.

Not defending either side, but how often do hourly employees get raises based on performance at your wife's company? You say performance should lead to salary increases, but what about the majority of people who only make hourly rates?

Pretty sure almost all the matter we can interact with does produce blackbody radiation

The first Dark Souls was 2011. Diablo was released in 1997. World of Warcraft was 2004 and while you didn't quite drop all your stuff and money you die you did have to run back to your corpse to keep from having all your stuff degrade and cost a bunch of money. The first Sonic was 1991 and getting hit makes you drop all your "money" and have to pick it back up.
