My only thought is this: If they wish to see the finished product they dont get to see it without a large water mark until you have been paid

stardew valley can run on a rasperry pi. It will run amazing on a framework. Depending which laptop and config you get depends on how much heavier it can run, but i imagine something like CS2 would run fine and if you go 16 inch with the GPU option Forza Horizon 5 should run too.

Consider this: The average human response time is over 200ms, and you are worried about the response time of 9ms? The laptop will have responded 20 times before you do. Dont worry about it.

Now if you are an esports pro in a competitive high speed game you could notice it, but still it would be iffy.

I have 3 quick ones.

1: Taking it on a nice camera doesnt automatically make it a super amazing great picture. Yeah its better than a smartphone, but so is everything compared to the lowest bar. A good picture will be produced, but the best ones require good color grading and a good camera + lenses.
2: Photographers who block the path. I get it, especially if you have a client. Trying to get the pictures done while there is light out still, but the rest of us want to walk by you to get past, and the people who arent taking pictures do too. (I do live near a place where a lot of people like pictures taken so it may be a local thing).
3: Adobes Behavior as a company. Fuck adobe.
