Some costs might be lower or higher, depending on a family's goals. For instance, some might pay for more than one-year of college for their children, while others might buy fewer cars.

Wedding and engagement ring: $35,800

One year of college for two kids: $42,080

Pets: $67,935

Average cost to buy a home, including lifetime mortgage payments: $796,998

Are you really buying a house if you never finish paying for it?

I watched Citizenfour recently, and it is remarkable how little has changed. I wonder whether people have forgotten or they just don't care.

Abortions? – nobody gives a shit about those children. It’s a convenient cover so they don’t have to say “Mothers are killing the thing that we will enslave and drain later on in the economy!"

What sort of purpose does it serve to force a woman to carry a pregnancy to term when the fetus has a Fatal fetal abnormality?

I haven't read the Florida law, but I can't see how the Texas law could be interpreted to permit action be brought against a user of a website under a set of circumstances.

Edit: I'm saying I can't see how, not arguing it doesn't.

Texas House Bill 20 and Florida Senate Bill 7072 prohibit website operators from banning users or removing speech and content based on the viewpoints and opinions of the users in question.

These laws expose residents of Florida and Texas who edit Wikipedia to lawsuits by people who disagree with their work

I don't understand this. Content on wikipedia isn't removed based on the viewpoints or opinions of users.

In a functioning country, minority ethnic groups are regular citizens without a special status

Would it be correct to say that you don't care for affirmative action?

I stand corrected.

TechCrunch is reporting that startup founders, like Techstars Managing Director Amos Schwartzfarb, are announcing their decisions to leave Austin's "lackluster" startup scene.

Who?

They don't know how to market something that doesn't have a bunch of gimmicky bullshit.
