This is a natural feeling for any creator/artist. To always feel like your work is not good enough. It’s normal. Stop trying to get the absolute best look and quality. Focus (no pun intended) on creativity. This is why most of us started photography. This is what we enjoy doing. Try things out. Even things you don’t like. Capture images in different ways than what everyone else does. There are no rules. There are no standards. Experiment. There is no perfect shot. Use motion blur, noise, presets, lens filters, colour palets, shapes, reflections, inspiration and anything else to create art. Listen to music you like and visualize scenes, subjects, angles,…

Try different styles from photographers you like. From there, you’ll have a better idea of what you like and you’ll be able to create your own style. Inspiration is key. It’s difficult to create a style from scratch. Visualization also helps. I like need for speed games and fast and furious movies. So when i shoot video. I try to create the same vibe/feeling/look. Same with photography. I imagine movie scenes while listening to soundtracks from the games/movies or just music I like in general. From there I can imagine scenes, subjects, looks, angles, colour palets, etc. Then, I take notes of what I imagined. Notion is great for that. I like being creative and not normalized. My style is random, in a unique way. From film looks, to street racing vibes, to dark b&w images filled with motion blur and grain, etc.
