Plenty of problems here with my idea, but it's a great solution if the kinks are worked out.

I've read the book, it's pretty good but I feel that it won't lend well to a movie, but then again I had similar thoughts about The Martian. I wasn't a huge fan of the film preferred the book. I won't watch this trailer but will watch the movie after it releases for sure
