[Longines] How do you feel about Longines as a brand in c/watches@style.land

I'll bet I have the weirdest take here...When I was a kid they would give Longines watches away on game shows, mainly The Price is Right. So, when I hear the name I immediately associate it with game shows and it cheapens the brand for me.

That said, they make some beautiful watches and I am looking at them.

Absolutely yes. I have a Mido certified chronometer that I got for $375 as a discontinued model. It's beautiful and I love it.

Seriously though...for me, I love watches, always have. There are so many beautiful watches out there and I keep learning more about them, I can't imagine getting bored with it. I will never be wealthy enough to own all of the watches I would love to own, so I suppose that helps keep the dream alive.
