Again, total nonsense. I'll repeat exactly what i said in one of the comments you deleted, and YOU can tell me why it's wrong. On lemmy there's no way to know what race/gender/sexuality a person is. So, you tell me, how is any of this stuff applicable here? If OP was just talking about mastodon, then their title is completely wrong, because their title is specifically saying how to change the fediverse, not how to change mastodon.

Absolute nonsense. Many of the comments you removed weren't saying anything wrong. They were discussing why the OPs draft is unworkable and would have the opposite of the effect they intend.

Ok that one's funny

Kids today will be like "what are repeats"? Did tiktok not allow new uploads during the summer back then?

I think existing fraud laws would just cover cases where someone tries to sell the fake as if its the real thing.

For instance let's say i made an AI replica of Arnold Schwarzenegger and put it in a movie. If i said "come see my movie with Schwarzenegger in it" then that would be fraud, but if i said "come see my movie with a replica of Schwarzenegger in it" then that wouldn't be fraud.

Or at least that's what i think is correct, but IANAL

No, this legislation is specifically about creating fake replicas. An actual recording of you in a space where you have no expectation of privacy is legal.

But with that said, you already can request meta/Google/etc remove photos of you. Though i have no idea if they actually take action on those requests.

The first LED I bought is about 7 years old at this point, so that tracks. I was being hyperbolic when i said "forever", they aren't designed to last literally forever, i just meant many many many years

I've never had to replace an LED bulb, ever. They last forever if there isn't a problem with your installation, like poor electrical wiring or poor ventilation

She's electric! In politics I've never seen such a sudden instantaneous jolt of energy and enthusiasm happen basically overnight! iirc even Obama didn't get quite as many people excited as quickly as Harris is doing! iirc even several weeks after Obama got the nomination there were still a good amount of nay sayers and fence sitters

Because it's a tiny study (underpowered), with major methodological problems. The study shows essentially nothing, and yet many people in this comments page are acting like it's now a proven fact that this is a trait of autism. And even the paper itself says this trait isn't necessarily any more common in autistic people than in the general population.
