Funny...I'm the exact opposite. I don't want it to detect that I’ve entered the room and set the lights to the appropriate scene automatically. Unless it can detect when I don't want to go into a dark room and be blinded by lights I didn't want on, I want to control when it turns on. Unless it can determine that I'm only home from work for a few minutes to go to the bathroom, I don't want it to adjust the heat settings. In other words, until it can actually read my mind, I want to be able to control it and tell it what I want when I actually want it.

I'm looking into an HA setup specifically to get away from Alexa and host everything locally. I may only want simple controls, but I want to truly control everything myself.

Nah, I'm just leaving it since that was part of his transition, both in character and in real life. To deny that would be to deny his story.

Such as? The only characters that kept showing up were Seska and Cullah. But that happened within the first year of their journey (no, really, the first two seasons were only one year). And most of that was traveling through Kazon space with Seska set on taking over Voyager. So it makes sense that they'd follow and keep showing up.

Save some trouble and go with POE. A little more expense to setup, but you only have to run one wire and everything is permanently hardwired.

How they keep encountering the same species 2 seasons after the first time despite seemingly moving vast distances past them.

That's a security risk that would allow dangerous 3rd party hardware to be paired with perfect Apple products.

/s...if it's really necessary.

First, why is the guy recording?

Strange man enters the home of an elderly person? This is the least concerning part of the entire situation.

I ain’t spending 8 hours a day twiddling my thumbs in a grocery store parking lot just to drive between work and home.

What are you talking about? New electric vehicles today can fast charge to 80% in 20 minutes or less. For the amount of driving that most people do, that's more than enough. You'd likely be able to go a few days between charges, and you're probably going to the grocery store anyways in that time. This is a poor excuse not to get an electric vehicle.

Is it because it automatically slams you over to a scam website that tells me my system is heavily damaged by 2 viruses?
