I thought this is how everyone did it...the host makes the turkey and main fixings, everyone else brings desserts and appetizers. Someone doesn't know how to delegate...

"Blood is thicker than water."

Usually said to convince someone that you should be there to help family regardless of what that family did to you. Unfortunately the full saying is "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb", meaning the ties you form with friends can be stronger than the family you you born into.

How is this not a fourth amendment violation?

Because this is the UK and they don't have a 4th amendment...

Let's get this straight...she went to the ER because her water broke too early and the fetus was not going to survive with current medical technology. She was forced to wait in the ER as administrators debated the legalities, and coincidently pushed her over the time limit for an abortion that the state arbitrarily decided. She had been in the ER twice that week before this incident and left without treatment. She then had a miscarriage while taking a shit, after being sent home from the hospital for the third time without treatment. She was likely exhausted, traumatized from losing a child that she actually wanted, and clearly not thinking straight. And after all that, some people still think she's obviously guilty of something...

Between this and the Supreme Court of Texas barring a woman from leaving the state to get a life-saving abortion for an unviable fetus, Texas seems to just hate anyone that looks like a woman.

So when are we getting a dark Mickey? The dark Winnie The Pooh came out pretty fast after that copyright expired...

The person on the other side isn’t guaranteed to be the same person when rematerialized. There’s the ontological argument that when you’re dematerialized, you die as your physical form is eliminated and that the person appearing on the other side is merely a clone of you, but not you.

That's just all a bunch of metaphysical nonsense...

Yes, but again even by your own admission, it has uses other than just currency.

The point is that we understand the actual paper has no value itself. It's the commitment of the government backing it that has the value.
