Not an uncommon opinion. I also like the signature of the 600 series better.

Can the Fiio K7 Bt sufficiently power my 300ohm HD600 and HD6xx’s? in c/headphones@hi-fi.community

I didn't even need to use the high gain on the k7 while listening to the 660s2...
