I don't get this logic. Everyone but Curry plays alongside Curry. Dray and Klay ain't doing shit on that Wizards team if they joined it.

The guy still got open. I think he straight up confused the defense with those screens.

Gobert is pretty integral to how the wolves are playing. I wish people would get over how we gave up 6 shit picks for him. He is playing now like he did in Utah and is a huge reason why the wolves lead the league in defense.

This is something that I have thought about for awhile but I think that athletes in general have a very skewed view of what they do and their abilities. It might be that you have to be able to think this way to make it to the nba. It is such a longshot that you have to think you are capable and responsible for anything. What are some of the most out there quotes?

This is the quote that brought this idea back to my attention:

“It’s like the girlfriend that you used to have,” Brooks said of the Grizzlies this season without him. “You don’t know how good she is until she’s gone. "

-Good on Brooks for = believing in himself but I think he thinks he is A or B tier even though he has been struggling badly on offense.

An oldy but a goody :

Sprewell saying " I have a family to feed.” and turning down $21 million only to be offered $5 million exceptions, which he also turned down and basically "retired" out of the league.

I think we are on the cusp of a lot of interesting basketball. I think that people kind of forget that big men in the past were largely limited just due to the assumption that a big man should stay near the hoop and grab rebounds. That is all kind of going away. We are to the point where there are not even that many big men in the league that know how to play in the post. Compare that to 20 or 30 years ago, when it was mandatory and expected for a big man to hold his own in the post. Things are changing but the big changes always lag 10 years, because it takes that long for a trend to get established at the lower levels so that everyone is forced to have that skillset. Guys are coming up through the ranks now that are three point bombing machines after having seen Curry, Dame, Klay, and other show the value and how valued three point shooters are. Three point shooting across the board is getting a lot better, in my opinion, because of that.

Big guys are doing more and being expected to do more. KD was an anomaly as a near 7 footer that should shoot but now you are slowly seeing guys like Wemby slowly seep up through the ranks. Jokic seem money way too often from downtown with his trebuchet shot. You can even look at passing in general by. Jokic is the best if not near the best passer in the league. Draymond is a pretty decent passer. Vlade probably could have run the point. Magic Johnson was treated as an extremely anomaly rather than a possible trend. I think things are going to be changing with big guys a lot in the next 5-10 years.

The Warrior suck this year. Everyone is schooling them.

There isn't a 7 footer alive that can keep up with that.

What is this stupid nonsense of showing a picture of the writer rather than the plsyer.

How long until Klay yells "Rings" at Warriors Fans when they start complaining about him?

How much more can the NBA suck at enforcing basic rules to the game?

Am I the only one hoping for a fight so I can maybe see Dray get kicked in the nuts again?

Shit is like Prozac. I watch that clip and the sun is brighter. The birds start singing. The world feels a little lighter.

Why does Jordan Poole keep his mouth shut? He is perpetually re-victimized and gets an incredible amount of criticism and bad press for a guy that hasn't made qn Allstars game and just played his balls of during a playoff run. He was the victim and it is like he is getting dragged through the mud 24/7 and he is just a B level player.

This stuff is so stupid. I still watch that clip of Kemp destroying Lister on a dunk. Kemp would receive a season suspension for that shit now.

I think people shouldn't dump on him for this response. It is a very mature response for someone that is very capable to average 27 ppg when he is playing. If you are just looking at numbers, it might be frustrating but it is really hard for someone to swallow that there are things that you or he needs to get better at for the team. On a shit team, with full greenlight he could average 30 ppg in my opinion but not make the playoffs.

Little to zero.
