Why does Wemby still have a lead over Chet in the ROTY race? (alien.top)
 

Chet is playing much better, with better efficiency, better playmaking, and better impact metrics. I thought the game vs the Warriors would change the tide, but Wemby is still leading in Vegas. Chet is currently shooting 56/46/90 w/ BPM of 5.4 and VORP of .8 vs Wemby 42/26/78 w/ BPM -3.4 VORP -.2 BLKs are 2.1 vs 2.6.

Wemby shouldn’t even be in the question for the award with how he is playing. I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Not sure if he’s top 5 all time, but people highly undervalue his defense. Go watch Thinking Basketball’s analysis on him and you’ll realize how valuable he’s been to the Warriors dynasty. I’d even go as far to say that Steph and Dray were more likely to win than KD and Steph, and I’m pretty sure the numbers back that.

There are currently only 2 players in the NBA that are scoring at LeBron James' volume and efficiency in his year-21 season in c/nba@nba.space

Not really wild. These two are known for this behavior. Boy do I get depressed watching the warriors nowadays.
