They just transitioned to Google Wallet, which lacks some features, notably peer-to-peer transactions. The API for virtual banking cards that most banking apps use instead of including their own NFC driver, also called "Google Pay", will keep working. At least that's how I understand it.

Cameras are not too great. Ground-station-based radio positioning systems, some of which can be used to enhance GPS precision to centimeters, already exist. (The ground stations, in a mesh tens of kilometers apart, get their position to that precision by averaging GPS over several days.) I'm pretty sure there is already a system on non-GPS frequencies too.
GIMP's mission statement is 1. be hateful to use
It hurts to say but you're right. I was like "can't you remap the right mouse button to another tool? Everything in the context menu is in the Menu bar regardless" and they responded with "nope, design philosophy"
Wasn't thos true for Biden too?
Not in solitary confinement (unless he's on suicide watch ofc)
Seconded this. Very small too, at about 10 MiB, or 250 kiB per game, which is tough to beat! The Android port is probably the best but a Linux and Windows version also exist. Get it on F-Droid
There is also Gauguin, a similarly small app but with only 1 puzzle type, this one. There are more options though, including more operation combos, negative and non-consecutive numbers, and even rectangular grids! The controls are a little worse if you ask me and so is the performance but not by a lot. I have spent huge amounts of time playing the game in both apps and I slightly prefer this one thanks to more variation.
I wouldn't go on a 30-minute crime spree yet, there might be a better deal soon.
Trump says he's going to be a one-day dictator if elected. If he gets his way and does not get punished afterwards, we have a strong legal precedent that everyone gets their personal Purge once in their lifetime.
Fantastic Fist - €12.49
Fantastic Fist is a platforming game focused on simultaneous keyboard and mouse controls. While the character can be moved around with the keyboard, the mouse can be used to interact with the environment by punching with a giant fist.
A puzzle platformer with tight controls and true pixel art, much like Celeste. Makes very good use of the controls available on a PC. Low system requirements (100 MB storage). Solo dev spent years perfecting the gameplay.
I don't play platformers but I'd like to support the dev (not affiliated). ~~I will gift it to you on Steam if you're the first to ask for it via DM~~ CLAIMED. As for games I have played, I enjoy little itch.io VNs by npckc, I just wish my devices were fast enough to run Ren'Py decently...
The spines are composed of nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite, protein(collagen), and water—the same materials that scales are made of. But unlike other scales, which originate during development from the mesoderm layer of the skin or dermis, the spines appear to have evolved from specialized cells located under the surface of the skin.
These cells are called skeletal progenitor cells, and they are also the source of other hardened body parts, like the jaws, fins, and skulls. When the skeleton of a puffer fish is inflated, the progenitor cells form spines and other bony appendages in a process known as ossification.
The ossification process is fairly quick—it takes about 24 hours for the spines to fully develop. But when the fish is deflated, the ossification cells quickly revert to their unmodified state—and the spines come tumbling down.
So the spikes get more bone-like when inflated?? There are also "fibers" connecting the spines that rotate the spikes outward when taut. It must be quite difficult to rebuild the skeleton for display!
And the fact that more-than-0-layer PCBs exist
I saw some Internet-based information systems on Czech railways down today. An information kiosk was showing Firefox's "Address not found" error page, one train had no onboard Wi-Fi and no tickets were getting checked. A store I went to did not accept cards today, either. Trains were unusually delayed too, I heard at least 3 different vague reasons over the PAS (technical problems with train, diversion, unforeseen circumstances).
However, except for that train I was able to connect to various known networks and they all worked.
Absolutely hilarious but technocally the term is correct as we have 1 natural satellite.
