This is part of why Russian troops faced and still face severe morale dips in Ukraine, because Ukrainians can speak directly to them and ask them what they are doing and why they are killing them.

A classic that always makes people like this angry is the good ole, "Anyways, [Something you are casually going to do today or did yesterday]- " and a hand wave to dismiss the statement.

It infuriates them lol

"Link the three temperatures below to where they individually belong on the thermometer."

Fixed it for you.

It might be. I remember buying a laptop at that time and it came with 8 and it annoyed me so dang much.

They lost me when they removed the start button on the left side of the taskbar in version 8.1 (I think it was) to... Be cool with the kids (I think 8.1 was supposed to be touch screen friendly)? I don't even know, but I went back to Windows 7 for a long while.

The backlash with the start button was so huge that they put it back on the taskbar in Windows 10 (at least mine has it and is the reason I got Windows 10). I'm currently refusing to update to Windows 11, because it apparently crashes when playing certain video games and I'm not about to have the other trash bugs that come with it, which I've been seeing posted on Microsoft help forums when I search for Windows 10 related questions. Fuck that noise, I don't want to deal with it.

Why did they have to use the word "nation"? With that word being used, the comment is even more stupid. A nation doesn't have to be a country...

Important to note; The French have a very strong culture of secularism, which turns out helps a lot with fighting against religious BS.

I think there's a big difference between choosing to not have kids for personal reasons and being anti-natalist to such an extent that you see others as subhumans for wanting or having kids. Your experience and feelings are valid and of a sound mind. The person who did this has a twisted mind and lacks empathy.

I get it, but at the same time, some very competent people that could be amazing parents need IVF and it's not right to take that away from them or terrorize them for that choice.

Some might shame them for not adopting, but I think that's a stupid mentality. Not everyone has the same needs to be filled with parenthood. Some want legacy, some want someone to love unconditionally, some want to give back to the community, some want a part of themselves and their partner to be left in this world, etc.

I've even heard some say IVF shouldn't be covered by Universal Healthcare where I live, because "God didn't want them to have kids anyway", but if we went with that mentality, nothing would be covered by Universal Healthcare, because "God didn't want them to live or be cured anyway".

Too many people have a serious lack of empathy for others.
