I like my coffee but I don't find it hard to avoid Starbucks. Plus they're not even nice places to go. They've been enshitified big time.
I noticed in my younger years that despite vodka's fairly neutral quality, I find that it can cause the worst halitosis after a heavy session of imbibing. Brushing and mouthwash doesn't make it go away. I've not experienced this with other distilled spirits. It's epecially nasty kissing someone who was drinking lots of it the night before.

I grew up in a rural area where most of us had well water. Our school would however have a program where the kids would get fluoride treatments. It basically was just a mouthwash.
I always thought it was a bad idea and never did it. However my parents did it, and I'm sure a lot of what is known about them applies to me.
I predict it being ubiquitous one day, where everyone has the ability to id others. It's already a thing in los Angeles. Also, I was just reading about how a person's gait can be used to identify someone, so wearing a mask won't be enough. Technology is just gonna get better.
