This is misleading. Not sure if by ignorance or malice, but it's very misleading.
This isn't happening with your browser bookmarks. This is Google Collections, which is a shareable bookmarking feature, meaning it can be made publicly available. That's why it's moderated. It's basically Google's version on something like Pinterest.

How does that do anything for the problem the author writes about, though? They're not complaining about their own feed being spammed with this stuff, they're complaining that it's so rampant in the first place and that Meta does little to nothing to prevent it.

For anyone interested, Pluto.TV has been running a 24/7 channel showing a bunch of Price is Right episodes from the 70s and 80s for a few years now. I often put this on my TV for background noise while I'm working, because that show just has such an amazingly fun energy, largely due to Bob's presentation. I'm gonna be watching some TPIR tonight, I guess. Gonna miss ya, Bob.

It's worth noting that Wikipedia has recently gotten down-ranked in Google's search results. It's rare to be the first result anymore, so just add that to your search terms.
Or, alternatively, just go to Wikipedia and search directly on there. Remove the middleman if you already know what your final destination is going to be.
