When a service that I self-host violates my trust in a way that I have no control over, I uninstall it. I'd rather be mad at my own failure to secure/properly configure my shit than be betrayed by a third party.

The people still on Plex are looking around at the metaphorical piles of rubble that used to be their neighbors and thinking to themselves, "Well my house is still standing so why would I move?".

Eventually Plex the company will find your own personal line and cross it.

I think I had the same thing with the Arya Stealths. While playing music there was something that just did not feel right at all and after a while I’d have ringing in my ears. I had to return them which was a shame because I liked them otherwise.

For what it’s worth, this problem is completely gone for me in the Arya Organics. They are currently my favorite headphones, by far. I have a lot of hours of head time with the Organics now and a large portion of that is listening to metal of various sub-genres. If I was gonna get ear ringing or discomfort with these, it’d have happened by now. And it hasn’t.

If a company like Qudelix makes a 5K with this WiFi lossless support, it’s game over.
