Absolutely this. I have worked with so many clients who couldn’t pin down an actual problem they solve — fixating instead on a service they simply believe would be desired based on nothing but their own ability to provide it.

I think small business owners are starting to see the writing on the wall with AI and are interested in figuring out how they can leverage it, but have no idea how to start.
So, yes. If you can give a solid value proposition on why this will make their lives easier, save them time and money, and price it for a decent ROI, I think there would be a lot of interest.
Your best bet is probably to start reaching out to local small businesses and getting their take on this, and go from there. My first intuition is a lot of small businesses would love this if they're currently paying employees just to answer calls, or single-person operations trying to handle calls themselves while also serving customers—like electricians, plumbers, etc. These types of businesses might consider this a solution because it saves them a lot of hassle, money and/or time.
Just curious, why is it necessary that they're familiar with it? If you have the idea + knowledge, and they have the programming skill, what's the issue you're running into?
