No doubt Magic are much improved...but I just cant see them finishing much better than .500.

Chet was injuried all last year. Hardly a year to develop. Wemby also played in pros overseas.

I have said a bunch of times, and anyone who watches the Hawks consistently can confirm. Trae has actually been somewhat servicable on D most nights last year and this year. In fact, I would say even kinda good occasionally. He is no worse than almost high usage guards and better in fact than a fair number. Eye test and all advanced metrics say so.

Whats really funny is the 76'ers announcers were claiming it was a foul, and commented on how Trae shouldn't laugh because its not that funny if you are Melton. Those announcers are realky something special.

How dare Hunter get charged into and then stratigically place his foot under Embiid's causing poor Embiid to fall down.....just ridiculous.

I agree with almost you said...except for Watson not playing because he isn't 100% with a sore shoulder. Do you have any idea how many people go to work everyday when they aren't 100% and have sore shoulders/back/neck/knees etc. Give me a break. A sore shoulder is MUCH different than long term brain injuries. I don't remember the last time I havent been in a fair amount of pain or much worse, yet I continue to go to work everyday just like millions of people. Also nobody forces these guys to play football, they should be aware of the risks (just as many dangerous professions). They are also paid VERY HANDSOMELY as part of the compensation to assume the risk.

Well, usually the facility is used for more than the NBA. Concerts and other Events stimulte the economy and help local businesses and provide jobs. Not saying those billionaire owners need a break, but unless the venue is used by only the NBA team there should be joint cost. Sports and entertainment salaries are just bananas. Until players and movie stars command less money along with greedy owners/entertainment companies, it will only get more ridiculous. Watching sports/concerts/live events is quickly becoming impossible financially for anyone but the extremely wealthy.
