Steam, I can install the Steam client without any problems on moat distros, also Valve has done a lot of things to make the Linux gaming better.

Gog doesn't have a desktop app for Linux, they're focused totally Windows so I don't care about it.

If I want "DRM free" games, then I pay for the original version with DRM and then pirate it to play whenever I want.

You should try the ranger file manager, thanks to that I almost don't use GUI file managers unless I have a headache

Idk, but it really sounds like something that could be possible in a future. Sending matter sounds difficult since the mass problem but electric information has barely any mass (or it does not?) Something really difficult would be calculating the possition of earth in the universe in the past and sending a signal to a receptor in the past earth

That's true but...I have been in GNI/Linux for just a year and have been reading how Ubuntu nowdays is awful but it was a great distro a few years ago.

Anyway, my opinion on Ubuntu has no weight since all I have used is Arch based distros

I know but ... YouTube belongs to YouTube, and I'm sure google is already making tons of money selling/using the data of all their users so... I would not have a problem with one or two ads, but they often put three or more annoying ads per video.

Thanks to the damn notifications now I HATE modern phones, I have uninstalled nearly every app from my phone, deleted mail accounts and set some tools to make my phone a normal phone again, nowdays smartphones are just a source of annoying ads. I installed an app (I think the name is minimalist phone) and it has a function to create a "box" for low priority notifications.

Garuda was my first distro too, after it I switched to Endeavouros, I think that endeavouros or arch fill those requirements.

I could not find it on Firefox without the: "about:profiles" that you mentioned, probably it's not easy to find, it's the first time I see it on Firefox. In Floorp is: Settings -> Profiles -> -Create, switch, config...

I just use one browser actually, Floorp. What I like about it it's the 'Profiles' feature, before Floorp I used Firefox, Librewolf, etc.

With Floorp I can just create another profile that it's like another browser. It's probably the best Firefox based browser but it's not very known.

I'm glad I stopped using chrome / chromium a long time ago.

As the title says. I have been searching for something like Kodi but more focused on an offline library manager for all the media I have. I can just navigate with the file explorer through my folders but it just looks not that pretty. Is there anything like a library manager to display my videos/music in a similar way of big online platforms? Since I have a lot of things to watch on my drive I don't actually use much internet lately and I'm searching for something like a good looking UI, but probably I'm not very good at searching :(

Do you know a anything like that?

We should go and save the useful info to re-post it here, it's a good opportunity to migrate all the information.
