I've also been thinking about Out of context -comments heard while video gaming ๐
Damaskox
Interesting.
When I click that link, I get a a 404 not found.
What about https://lemmy.world/c/MorbidCuriosity@kbin.social ?
Doesn't take that much difference in size to get me lost ๐
Yeah! It was a fun, different topic!
It's nice to have something uncommon to the pool of "basic" topics they have as well!
This was interesting!
Didn't know that getting tattoos could be even deadly (didn't somehow cross my mind).
A bit rough, eh?
Play horror games -> get scared of something + have a weak heart -> risks of RIP
I guess.
I believe it's an app that needs understanding of coding or building functioning stuff via visual code blocks that...well...require understanding of coding?
something completely insignificant like internet points
Nothing has any value until someone gives value to something.
I give value to my reputation points - it's a force that drives me further into coming up with and posting content ๐ And sometimes I enjoy comparing my points to someone else!
I started fediverse with Lemmy but moved to kbin pretty much because of the reputation system being here.
Don't get me wrong though - I don't care that much about downvoting and I don't let it affect negatively on my behavior. At the end of the day, regarding other people in the Internet has more value to me than Internet points ๐
I'm glad Kurzgesagt is around.
They have done an awesome job. They have created quality content with nice animations and a soothing narrator voice. The videos are short enough and interesting enough to keep me hooked 'til the end. I can share their videos and quote them about important aspects of life. They even changed my philosophical point of view about life.
I think I have watched every video from them. And that nets them a reward - me taking part in buying stuff from them!
The Big Crunch is an interesting theory (if not terrifying).
It would be awesome to see a movie or an animation adaptation (or why not a comic) about the visual effects, starting from stars starting to fall apart and ending up in life falling apart!
I was once handed a princess to use as a playable character in my first text-based chat roleplaying game with 3-5 other people of girls and boys.
It quickly grew on me and I started using girls more often as my playing character from then on.
I won't deny that looking at them could be generally nicer, but I believe it's not the main reason. At least when it comes to text roleplaying, I like to (try) think and behave like a lady in games, to roleplay in their world of view. It's neat in its own way and I love the immersion when it hits me!
