Just waiting patiently to get approved on midwest.social

I'd be stoked for more bike infrastructure in my area. Fewer methheads on their rusty deathtrap bicycles meandering across traffic. Although, the people that treat their riding lawnmowers as cars would likely use them too.

I suppose I'm too used to being on reddit and having people be needlessly aggressive and argumentative. You're right.

I wasn't even disagreeing. Not sure why I'm being argued against.

Unfortunately, I'm immunocompromised, so most of these options are too high risk.

I would have to drive about 45 minutes to get to any form of public transport that isn't a school bus.

Seems like a good idea on paper, but they ride bikes about as well as they drove their cars.

My town has a bunch of people riding bikes because they lost their license from too many DUIs, the rest are drunk drivers that haven't lost theirs yet.

I never served, but worked at an Exchange on a Navy base. Freshly promoted Chief's wives love to try to make us in the store call them by their husband's rank or whatever other nonsense they thought they deserved, but guess what? I'm not in the chain of command at all and there's nothing in the employee handbook that makes me abide by any of that.
