Hi! Back in reddit there was a DID community. Is there something equivalent in the fediverse? I'm not a system myself but I know a few and I am doing some research on the topic, so I'd be really appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction

Maybe the random community would be appropriate too

Kbin interacts with Lemmy and seems to me to contain reasonable people willing to have respectful discussions

The ultimate goal of democracy is to allow people to organize themselves and their society in whatever way they see fit. If the enforcement (or lack thereof) of this law is not in strides with national law, I don't see the problem with this ordinance. It is a way of putting some more social pressure to the habit of smartphone usage in public spaces and the daily life of people in this town. People who don't follow through suffer literally no consequence, but I bet it will change habits for what the inhabitants of this town think it's for the better. Let them have this, I say.

Yeah when I stop drinking mate for a day or two I get slight headaches. The more caffeine you take daily the harder it is to quit it cold turkey

Andrew Huberman discussed the science behind caffeine and the circumstances under which it can lead to improved athletic performance. Long story short: even if you're a regular Caffeine user, taking a day or two break, and timing your caffeine intake to an hour or 90 minutes prior to performing gets the best results. I do it with Mate and my performance in sports goed through the roof

We don't need screenshots from threads

That message is not visible for me. It just shows my email address and the option to save preferences or to exit

Dafuq...
I found this in my settings. I never know if the option is on or off... It's on, right?

Thanks, that's actually a very clear tutorial. Definitely saving it

Oh shit, what newest release did you upgrade to? I think I have MX21 in my Acer one

It's an old model (Acer One D257) Processor is Intel Atom. Memory is 1GB DDR3 with 320 GB of HDD. I currently Have MX 21 running on it, but I need to reinstall because I forgot the root password. Since I'm reinstalling the OS, I thought I'd ask here for recommendations for an OS that makes the most of this oldie.

As the title says. I am using the ByPass Paywall add-on and it used to work, but since some time it just doesn't. I've made sure the site I am trying to visit is listed in the list of sites, and I've also manually added it, but to no avail. Does anyone know any good alternatives to bypass paywalls, or some way of troubleshooting the add-on?
