I don’t think it’s a problem long-term. The Spurs are tanking and not trying to win this season and next. Wemby might as well get some three-point reps in.

Chet Holmgren is amazing, exceeded my expectations.

Keyonte George>Scoot Henderson, said that pre-draft and fully believe it still.

Spurs are holding Wemby back offensively playing him with Collins and Sochan most of the time. The good news is they should get a top 5 pick in this next draft to hopefully draft a running mate for him.

Paolo Banchero after a "slow start" is averaging 19.4/6.4/4.3 on 47.7/45.5/66.3 with 1.2 steals per game in c/nba@nba.space

If we’re talking about a guy like Duncan, Giannis or KG playing center then maybe. Those guys were/are complete cheat codes at center and Giannis especially is better there. See 2021 finals. But in terms of standard centers like Adams, Valanciunas, Ayton, Allen, those guys? Hell no. Not even close. The most valuable position is probably wings or a guy who can play anywhere (Durant, LeBron, Luka, etc). Center is the least valuable position outside of Joker, Embiid Adebayo. I do think the position is improving and Chet, Mobley and Wemby are extremely valuable players. Mobley and Wemby are fake PF’s and their best positions will be at center.

That’s what I am saying clearly. Did you read the first two sentences of my comment? I wasn’t trying to be captain obvious. His FG% has been lower his entire career because most of his attemps are threes. It’s just more extreme because he’s having a bad stretch from three this year.

A big reason for his low FG% is because most of his shots are threes. He’s attempting 16.3 FG per game and 8.7 of those are threes. He’s also shooting a career worst 31% from three right now which obviously will improve as the season goes on.

He shouldn’t play at all outside of blowouts. Hyland is a better player and fit right now.

Since Keyonte George was inserted into the stating lineup 4 games ago, Jordan Clarkson is averaging 31.5 PPG while shooting a blistering 56% and 41.9% from three in c/nba@nba.space

George is gonna be the best guard from his draft. He reminds me a lot of Darius Garland.
