yea, I've just been dragging and dropping files into VLC
I've had good luck lately with SubScene, I've only downloaded a few files though, so not a huge sample set
got a book on Linux from the library this week, and I've been speaking with a friend who runs Linux full time on his system. looking to make the switch within the next few weeks; absolutely done with windows, personally.
I would consider re-framing a question like this to address what we even consider "crime". we usually don't factor in corporate crime and wage theft, both of which are incredibly damaging. or the crimes waged against the poor and the climate, which are harming all of us.
in all honesty, you should have been disheartened long before this article, or my comment.

but the whole "there's no ethical consumption under capitalism, so we might as well violate all the rights we can!" isn't it.
