What's the benefit here? Regular HDDs have more than enough speed for watching movies/series, why not store directly in the "library"?

Yeah it's not just for privacy, hence the port forwarding requirement.

AFAIK nothing has shown issues with the privacy of either email or VPN? At least not something that wasn't caused by blatant idiot user error like the guy with his apple email as recovery email.

What's a good alternative VPN provider in EU, not based in Italy? Mullvad is not an option, port forwarding is an absolute requirement.

Also, is there anything out there that ties password/account management and temp emails together as well as proton pass?

The entire motor controller of ICE vehicles is computer operated today and connected to the infotainment system, they could probably brick the engine too.

Huh, I have not had any issues with orca slicer on Linux Mint at all, I've been using it exclusively for over a year now. Haven't had issues linking my printer via WiFi either, I just put the IP and port and it worked right away.

I didn't say there was German consensus, but the fact that politicians in almost all member states are either pro or considering it is frightening.

German EU politicians are also pushing the chat control BS, it seems like it is only a matter of time until these psychos slip these invasive laws through.

Put a hard ban on any form of personalized and unsolicited advertising in public space, and define SoMe as public space.

It still doesn't remove trolls and rage bait, but it lowers monetary incentive to keep users on the platform.

The pros only trigger if you have average or above intelligence.

Even at that layer it should require site specific knowledge to gain access to the network, knowledge like specific IP ranges, netmask and VLAN, that they really shouldn't have. This bank managed to mess up literally every single step of the IT security chain, it's almost impressive.
