Good deal. Hope I didn't frighten ya too much. :D I was also told that you should be able to feel the pressure against the screen before seeing a visible difference too. (I'm still a little peeved I didn't get more of a warning from the makers of my device, but that's life)

I'm at the point where I'm no longer interested in better battery longevity --we gonna need safety ratings like vehicles at this trend

"die" is in quotes to indicate a figurative training/practice/simulation (read fake or test) death. --posting for anyone else who don't think too good (obvs me) and may need clarity Thank you for the explanation

Naive question, why wouldn't test-anythings be conducted much higher up to account for such erroneous potential?

PSA This data correlates almost exactly with my battery stats before I realized the very dangerous battery swelling up like a balloon under the screen.

I'm very not observant and didn't notice any physical difference until the screen fell plum off the chassis

So you're saying if I pivot to windows, I can find a real job?

I can only kinda help with #2 roadmap:

This link and the blog you can find here may also help:

This is a trend that is showing less than zero signs of decelerating.

I desperately need insight/advice on how to reconcile these tragedies with any hope of a worthwhile career. How am I to believe in hopes of things like job security when articles like this are beyond normal?

I sincerely wish to know how we expect to advise our children to pursue seriously needed careers or ambitions of any value when the new rule of our era is to reward career-seekers with endless layoffs to maintain a dwindling, starving work force so as to keep running the profit maximizing machine of the ruling few.

I'm curious to see how this will compare with Bitwarden in terms of security and just general pros/cons

Great PSA
The warning signs can be tough to discern, but also remember battery events usually lead to chemical fires that may need to be stomped out rather than watered down.
