You can't eq closed backs to sound open, and you can't eq dynamics to sound electrostatic.

Sounds like you are looking for something open back. I would recommend philips shp9600, or audio technica ad500x

You could find some older ones that use AAs. Or you could just buy wired.

(Another option is to buy used, as this would mitigate the cash flow to these areas)

Finished my side project. Got these Stax SR5s and srd-6 for 70 bucks left side was dead, right was spotty, and it had no headband. Fixed it all and made an adapter for my Koss ESP/95X. (alien.top)
