What I don't get about sovcits is that they are trying to operate under a different legal system that leads where exactly? Do they think that eventually they'll reach an Arcane Judge who will acknowledge that they've cracked the code and can go on about their business, unlike the rest of us suckers who don't know the right incantations?

Must awaken something deep in the mammal brain. There was a video of a wildlife cam where a hawk or something grabbed a rabbit which started screaming, and a deer came running and absolutely stomped the life out of the bird.
Is Wisconsin's law really any different? Most states the test for self defense is reasonable belief that your life is in danger from an imminent threat, but I'd doubt that claim from anyone who is pursuing someone else who is fleeing from them.

This isn't so different from how it always was. Before social media existed in its modern form, Alex Jones used to broadcast from a 100kW shortwave station. The chem trail nonsense goes back almost thirty years. I suspect the spiritual origin is traceable back to 60s counterculture. Snake Oil type scams and witch doctors go back to prehistory.
The biggest difference is that people can now engage directly with these things immediately and worldwide, they don't have to be part of an alternative magazine mailing list.
