GrapheneOS is perfect. Pixel phones are Google hardware yes, but works like a dream once GOS is installed. NO MORE GOOGLE !!! Frequent OS updates, love it

Yes NewPipe is great, just watch what you want, no ads, just the channels you're subscribed to !! But I wonder how this YouTube blocking experiment is going to affect NewPipe as it's not using a YouTube account for watching.....
